6th Grade Social Studies - 10/13/09 Blue Day - The class completed in their Coach Book Lesson#20 on the Renaissance.  They completed the essay paragraph and four questions. They also completed and handed in the questions on page 306, 311, and 317 in the text (Sections 1,2,3)

8th Grade Social Studies 10/13/09 Blue Day - They completed lessons 2 and 3 in their Coach Book on exploration and the trustees in the Georgia colony.  They completed the "Promises" paper listing what the colonists and the trustees promised when they came to Georgia.  Homework was a list of colonial jobs to research and see what the equivalent jobs would be today.

6th Grade Social Studies - 10/8/09 - Red Day Revisited assignment in chapter 11 (sections 1-2-3) as well as the graphic organizer comparing Italy, Germany, Russia, and the United Kingdom in various categories. I will be checking notebooks and agendas for entries plus giving you agenda home communication stickers. If you have tests or work to make-up you need to do it either Tuesday or Thursday - grade recovery will be in place.

We will continue with the unit on the colony of Georgia.  This week will be grade recovery time - if you have tests, or incompleted work you will be given the opportunity to make this work up.  Please check with me for any work missing or that needs to be re-done.
